MOLECULE
Isobutyryl-CoA
Isobutyryl-CoA, also known as isobutanoyl-CoA, belongs to the class of organic compounds known as acyl coas. These are organic compounds containing a coenzyme A substructure linked to an acyl chain. Thus, isobutyryl-CoA is considered to be a fatty ester lipid molecule. Isobutyryl-CoA is a very hydrophobic molecule, practically insoluble (in water), and relatively neutral. Isobutyryl-CoA is expected to be in Cannabis as all living plants are known to produce and metabolize it.
