Isovaleryl-CoA

Isovaleryl-CoA, also known as isovaleryl CoA, belongs to the class of organic compounds known as acyl coas. These are organic compounds containing a coenzyme A substructure linked to an acyl chain. Isovaleryl-CoA is a strong basic compound (based on its pKa). Isovaleryl-CoA is a potentially toxic compound. Isovaleryl-CoA is expected to be in Cannabis as all living plants are known to produce and metabolize it.
